The purpose of The Pooch Corner Doggy Daycare is to provide a safe, fun and stimulating social environment for dogs during weekday business hours. To ensure the safety and health of your pet and our other guests, we require all guests to comply with the following rules and regulations:

 

AGE:

All dogs have to be 12 weeks or older.

SEX:

All dogs 6 months and older have to be spayed or neutered.

SHOTS:

All dogs have to have up-to-date vaccinations and the owners have to submit written proof from their veterinarian of DHLPP, Bortadella and Rabies vaccinations (Rabies is required for puppies over 4 months of age).

Proof is also required that the dog is regularly dewormed.

HEALTH:

All dogs have to be in good health. Owners will certify their dogs in are in good health and have not been sick with a communicable condition in the last 14 days. Upon admission, all dogs have to be free from any condition which could potentially jeopardize other guests. Dogs that have been sick with a communicable condition in the last 14 days will require veterinarian certification of health to be admitted or readmitted.

 BEHAVIOR:

All dogs have to be non-aggressive and not food or toy protective. Owners will certify their dogs have not harmed or shown any aggressive or threatening behavior towards any person or any other dogs. Please remember: your pet will be spending time with other pets and the safety and health of all our guests is our main concern!

Behavior which is not wanted, for example digging or excessive barking will be tried to be eliminated by spraying the dog with plain water in the face. In case of emergency, for example a fight would start between two dogs or a dog would start to charge staff or volunteers, the dog will be sprayed with Citronella Spray.

Dogs, the same as small children, need a nap time.
Therefore your dog will be in a kennel/crate for approximately an hour during lunchtime to have his or her nap. Your dog will in this time also receive his/her food and we will clean and disinfect the play area and toys to ensure the health of all our guests.

Food has to be provided by the owner to avoid sudden changes in the dog’s diet. You are welcome to provide the daily ration every day at drop off or bring a larger container, marked with your dog’s name, with the ration for a week.

You can also bring a favorite toy or blanket for in your dogs kennel/crate, which will not be accessible to any other dog then yours.

In case your dog needs a timeout from playing, he/she will be also put in his/her kennel/crate to rest for a few minutes or how long required.

 DAYS AND HOURS:

We are open for you from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.! (In case all dogs are dropped of later and/or picked up earlier, we might adjust the opening time accordingly!)

The Pooch Corner is not an overnight facility!

Staff goes of duty at latest 6:00 p.m., any dog left with us after this time will be booked as a guest of The Pet Lodge and the according price is due at pick up!

RESERVATIONS:

Reservations are required!

Cancellations with less then 24 hours notice will be charged the full fee.
